On Monday evenings from April 21-May 19, I will be holding a gum bichromate class at Rayko Photo Center in San Francisco. I'm honored and completely excited to teach this age-old process at such a wonderful facility.
Space is limited and we're currently having a sale on spring classes, so register soon.
From the website description:
"This 5-session course teaches students how to capture, create, and print historical tri-color gum bichromate prints. Students are taught the basic principles of gum printing and the unique relationship that it holds with digital capture and overall convenience. During the course, students compile and interpret their own digital negatives in order to produce beautiful tri-color gum bichromate prints. Classes will usually comprise live demos and lab sessions. Tuition includes a pass to computer workstations and partial access to private B&W darkrooms."
