Here's a short little promo video that I made as an example for mys tudents in a class I'm currently teaching. The objective is to have students create a short presentation of the work featured on their websites. Students must introduce themselves as a photographer, what kind of work they are interested in creating, and a bit more information that rounds out the video. I'm pleased to announce that I have been chosen to show and donate my work towards a good cause. Art Intersection is having an exhibition and silent auction of past artist works that have shown at the photo center over the past year. I am fortunate enough to donate a piece from my Another Me series. I chose the "Behind the birch tree" image and created it as a toned-Cyanotype. The image floats in a reclaimed redwood frame. This spring I have been invited in a closed art making group called, The Statement. The Statement features art from all forms in order to create a collaborate collective and open interpretation to each month's theme. On Monday evenings from April 21-May 19, I will be holding a gum bichromate class at Rayko Photo Center in San Francisco.
